What to document before the visit

Understand the proposed scope
Ask for the proposed route, outlet, materials and maintenance access in writing. Interior and exterior drainage projects have different scopes, so clarify the actual work rather than relying on a product name. Confirm responsibility for utilities, local requirements and any impact beyond the property. Include excavation cleanup and landscaping restoration.
