Compare the actual tasks and agreement terms behind a maintenance plan. A visit count alone does not explain the service you are buying.
What to document before the visit
- List covered equipment and model information.
- Gather manufacturer maintenance instructions and prior reports.
- Record unresolved symptoms separately from routine service needs.
Understand the proposed scope
Ask for the inspection and service checklist, scheduling terms and written reporting. Clarify whether filters, parts, repairs and priority response are included or charged separately. Review renewal and cancellation terms before enrolling. If a visit identifies a repair, request a separate explanation and authorization rather than assuming it is covered by the plan.

- Which tasks and systems are included?
- What repairs or consumables cost extra?
- How are scheduling, renewal and cancellation handled?
