What to document before the visit
- Gather existing equipment information and service history.
- Describe comfort problems and any building changes.
- List access constraints and preferred scheduling arrangements.
Understand the proposed scope
Ask how the proposed capacity was selected and how ducts, controls, fuel connections and venting are addressed. Separate equipment, removal, installation and any building alterations in the estimate. Clarify who coordinates local approvals and who performs commissioning. Request warranty terms, operating instructions and a maintenance plan at completion.

- What building assessment supports the equipment selection?
- Which connection and duct changes are included?
- What commissioning record and warranty will I receive?
