Maintenance depends on the appliance and its manufacturer’s instructions. Build a record around the actual model instead of applying one generic schedule to every machine.
What to document before the visit
- Locate the owner’s manual and model details.
- Record maintenance already performed and unresolved symptoms.
- Separate normal scheduled care from a new fault.
Understand the proposed scope
Ask a provider to list the proposed tasks and distinguish inspection, cleaning and replacement parts. Confirm whether the work affects warranty terms and whether connections or ventilation need a different trade. Any new smell, overheating or unsafe behavior should be assessed before routine use continues.

- Which tasks are recommended by this model’s manual?
- What is included in the service price?
- Which findings would require a repair visit?
