A replacement appliance needs more planning than the delivery date. Check the intended location, connection responsibilities and removal arrangements before booking.
What to document before the visit
- Record the exact new model and existing equipment.
- Describe doorways, stairs and built-in cabinet access.
- Keep the manufacturer installation information with the order.
Understand the proposed scope
Ask who confirms fit and connection compatibility before delivery. Installation, electrical or plumbing changes, removal and disposal may be separate services. Clarify which work the installer is qualified to perform and which needs another trade. Include a handover that explains testing, operating instructions and how installation issues are reported.

- Are removal, disposal and any cabinet changes included?
- What testing and installation warranty are provided?
