What to document before the visit

• Record the make, model and known condition of the vehicle.
• Tell the provider about access restrictions from a safe location.
• Confirm where the vehicle should go and whether it can be received.

Understand the proposed scope

Ask the operator to confirm suitable equipment and itemize collection, transport, mileage and any storage charges. Clarify who can authorize changes to the destination and when additional charges begin. A towing agreement is separate from repair authorization.
